MisSOULa

I rode most of the day with Irene.
Yet another beautiful ride through Montana. One of the things that stands out about this is that our whole route made a wrong turn…and ended up biking on interstate. One of the most terrifying experiences. I suggest not doing it.

Less than a mile from the host, we saw Big Dipper Ice Cream. I got espresso health and chocolate ice cream… With rainbow sprinkles.

When we arrived in town, we down the main street in town. We checked out Liquid Planet which had super good lattes. We walked up and down the street. We walked by a sweet electronic concert too.

Later, we went to a local brewery in Missoula with Bob, Maia, Jen, and Michelle. We enjoyed a quick beer and headed back to the host.

We also had a build day in Missoula.  We helped out at a future ReStore.  My group painted the exterior of the building, but other groups helped remove old carpet and other maintenance jobs. Halfway through the day, several people went down the street to a coffee shop. One of the greatest things about the northwest is that they have tons of coffee huts.  They are practically on every road.  For coffee addicts like us, it was pretty wonderful.

We finished the build day, and had some free time.  Jen, Michelle, and I searched around town for bike shops.  They needed to get some new tires.  After completing our errands, we went to a coffee shop (no surprise!) in the middle of town.  We relaxed, sipped coffee, and wrote postcards.  After dinner, Susie, Irene and I made another trip to Big Dipper Ice-Cream later in the night.
